Asterisk Dial & Announce Tool (ADA|T) was introduced in 2007, so it has been around longer than Digium's (stalled?) attempt called Asterisk Desktop Assistant (ADA). It's unfortunate the software packages have a similar abreviations (ADA vs ADAT).
